Go Live with Yahoo! Live

Yahoo has launched its latest offering. An online webcam portal named Yahoo! Live. The concept somewhat similar to Youtube, might just scream out loud about the intentions on the part of Yahoo that if it wants to take the place of Google, it has to follow its footsteps too. But the name Live is something which is beyond my reckoning! Has Yahoo simply lost its direction following its mishaps in the falling US market or is it gearing up its innovations to make up for the lost time? If its the latter then there is little hope of its survival before Microsoft gobbles it up.

Power of XRAY for Web Designers

XRAY, in very simple terms, is a bookmarklet with some eye popping features. It is aptly named as XRAY. It completely skins a website and like an actual XRAY, sees within the elements of the web page and gives information just about any element. This is the most interesting utility I have seen in a browser after the web developer toolbar for Firefox. If you have Firefox then you can simply stick to web developer toolbar but what would you do if you had the ill famed Internet Explorer or any browser which does not have the features like Firefox. XRAY rescues you from such situations.

My article on 10 Most Amazing Google Search Tricks was very well received which made me realize that people have not yet seen the powerful features provided by Google. The tricks in the article were amongst the common ones which frequent searchers know. But there are still many more which a few rare search savvy people, termed “google hackers” seem to know.

The fact is that, people miss out on these tricks since they are busy finding the keywords! In order to make them aware I will be trying to put up different tricks and their usage as per the requirement so that it becomes easier for you to get the required information in an instant.
